Import Data from Pacemaker.Press

Learn how to import your Pacemaker.Press data into Scribl (or save locally for backup)

Preparing your Project:

Don't worry, this is all reversible.

Import Pacemaker Settings

Step 1: Set your "Fixed Deadline" to "No"

This is so that your words logged and target words match.

Step 2: Set your "Adjust deadline based on" to the same as your "Target Goal".

This is to remove any additional trailing days added to your project timeline. There should be 1 trailing day, but don't worry, Scribl will take care of it.

Step 3: Export the iCal file from Pacemaker from under the "Share" tab

Step 4: Import your data into Scribl using the Import Data feature.

Make sure to select the appropriate progress recording, exactly as you logged the data in Pacemaker. This can be changed through the project settings later, if you wish.

Step 4: Get back to writing!

You're all set! You can now get back to writing and let Scribl track your progress.
