Nanowrimo Alternative
Nanowrimo is an annual writing challenge that began in 1999. It encourages anyone and everyone to write 50k words in the month of November. It's a global event to get into the habit of writing, overcome procrastination, or write that book you've always been meaning to write in a supportive community.
However, in March 2025, the Nanowrimo organization annouced that they would be shutting down after financial difficulties and AI controversy.
In response, we've decided to host our own version of Nanowrimo.
